Retouched by Prynne was set up by Pauline Prynne. It is a small family run business located just 2 miles from the A1 in Bedfordshire.
Pauline specialises in restoring black and white and sepia toned prints that long since passed their best. Digital photo restoration and enhancement at an affordable price, by Retouched by Prynne, can help save irreplaceable heirloom pictures and preserve an important part of your family history. It also makes sense to have a digital copy of your precious photos. This may be on a cd that can be viewed on a television or computer screen, or on a digital photo frame.

If you don’t have access to family photos or don’t know which to choose why not give a gift voucher. That way the recipient of the gift has the added pleasure of browsing through their photos and choosing their favourite.
The original photograph is scanned into a computer and remains untouched. The digital image is then painstakingly restored using the latest technology and a steady hand. This process can take many hours, so whilst most photographs are charged at a flat fee of £25, it may occasionally be necessary to charge more. This will only be done after discussion and agreement with the owner.
The cost includes a good quality print up to a maximum size of 7”x5”.
